Why consider regenerative and alternative treatment?

Heal the body from the inside out by utilizing regenerative and alternative therapy to regenerate and repair the body internally.  Regenerative and Alternative medicine is a form of regenerative medicine to replace and restore damaged tissues inside the body.  Your own healing cells may be injected into areas of damaged tissue such as joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons which helps reduce inflammation and pain and improve function.   In addition good nutrition, special therapy modalities and other therapies may be recommended to get optimal results.  If you're suffering from osteoarthritis or chronic pain in your neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, sciatica, or Peripheral Neuropathy, give Oregon Medical Centers a call.

How does regenerative cell therapy work?

Regenerative therapy works in two ways. After regenerative injections are injected into the areas of damaged tissue, your body is able to regenerate and replace the damaged cells in these tissues into healthy cells and these tissues are transformed  and able to facilitate healing and repair and replace the damaged tissue.  Secondly, you are able to "kick-start" your body into healing itself.  Just like you cut yourself and your body heals itself after the cut, the same way, these injections "kick-start" the healing process of the damaged tissue.

When tissue is damaged, it becomes inflamed as it tries to repair itself. However, some disease processes and injuries cause chronic inflammation and prevent the tissue from healing which causes ongoing discomfort or pain. Regenerative cells bring new healthy cells to the area which decreases inflammation, repairs damaged tissue, restores function, and relieves discomfort.

We also utilize good nutrition and home therapy.  We become what we eat.  If we eat healthy food that is nutritious, we will be healthy.  If we eat toxic & highly processed food, we won't be as healthy.  We utilize a multi-modal approach to regenerative medicine with special modalities, including good nutrition, home therapy and special injection therapy based on patient's clinical condition.

If you're suffering from chronic neck, back, knee, hip, shoulder pain, or peripheral neuropathy, give our clinic a call at  Oregon Medical Centers in Aloha and Salem, Oregon,

Who can benefit from regenerative cell therapy?

People with many different types of injuries and localized pain may benefit from regenerative treatments at our Aloha or Salem clinic as an alternative to more invasive procedures such as surgery. Regenerative treatment is effective for conditions such as:

  • Tendinitis
  • Shoulder stiffness and pain
  • Wrist pain
  • Hip pain
  • Knee pain
  • Ankle and foot pain

Those who have had surgery or other treatments and still have pain or discomfort can also benefit from regenerative treatment to reduce inflammation, help tissue heal, and relieve pain. Regenerative treatment can also be used in conjunction with other treatments to assist with healing, pain relief, and restoring function.

What can you expect when getting regenerative treatment?

First of all, your doctor will examine you and assess where you’re having pain or discomfort and what may be causing it. If your doctor thinks you would benefit from regenerative therapy, they may recommend regenerative treatment for the damaged area and explain how this treatment works.  The regenerative medicine treatment will also include good nutrition, home care as well as other modalities.  It is a multi-modal approach to help our patients get the best results.

Most people are able to resume their normal activities the same day but your healthcare provider will recommend what they think is best for you.
